MIXOLOGY SEMINAR
”Better Producing & Analogue Summing Techniques”

Mixology Seminars are workshops to optimize the use of professional studio & outboard equipment.
The seminars are hosted by the Grammy Award winning producer and technician Fab Dupont, who is a specialist in analogue summing techniques, Digital Audio Workstations, calibration of outboard equipment and the art of proper studio setup.
The core of the seminar is to give the participants a better look into how to optimize the use of DAW’s and the belonging hardware, how to use summing boxes to give more headroom to the mix and in general how to get the most out of your own studiofacilities.

Fab Dupont works mostly out of New York City, mixing and mastering for record labels such as V2, Blue Note, Atlantic and Warner Bros. Moreover, he produces commercials for companies such as Apple Computer, Johnson&Johnson and Motorola, and he works with sounddesign and mix for the movie industry. Apart from that he is also a songwriter and trackmaster, with an output of 50-80 songs pr. year.

The seminars depending on location are based on a 1 day, 8 hour schedule (or 1/2 day, 4 hour schedule) + an option for a follow up home assignement, that will take place in either the participants own studios or in a professional soundstudio, depending on agreed arrangements.

The seminar will be held in English.
